It is good to get their side of the story out there. I’m often fearful to see them coming in congested traffic, and I forget how they need to watch out for cars all the time.

Too many people driving intoxicated by liquor or Marijuana intoxication or texting while driving. It is a nightmare on the highways.

The Iowa DOT thinks that 20 MPH 90% exits off 65 MPH hwy meets their specs. Within a few weeks of opening such exit here in central Iowa, just a few years ago, a tanker rolled off the exit and burst into flames, killing the driver. The ironic part is that there was more than enough room in the land taken for the exit to make it a wide-sweeeping exit that connnected to another 65 MPH hwy. I think the IDOT found a 1920s spec book to use for the exit design. STUPID!!

For safety reason we need to limit driving time to 8 hours a day – as in Europe; the existing law – 11 hours for drivers (plus 1 – 2 they do not report) is the main cause for driver’s fatigue and accidents as result. Stability control will not help.

The fatigue behind steering wheel kills people because of greedy law permitting a truck driver to be on the job almost 300 hours a month. People should never work more than 180 hours per month, especially those in transportation industry.
