The Insurance Marketing & Communications Association (IMCA) is seeking nominations for its 2015 Innovation Torchbearer Award.
The award recognizes individuals or organizations that have demonstrated “innovative ideas or initiatives impacting the insurance industry,” according to Mark Friedlander, IMCA president and head of corporate communications at The Main Street America Group.
Nominees will be judged on a combined basis within three key areas of evaluation:
- Overall impact of innovation on a national or international level.
- Impact of innovation on a respective insurance industry segment.
- Degree of innovation deployed in executed creative strategy.
The award will presented June 22 during the IMCA Annual Conference in Nashville.
The IMCA Innovation Torchbearer Award, established in 2012, evolved from the organization’s annual Golden Torch Award program, which began in 1991. Previous winners of the Innovation Torchbearer Award include Swiss Re (2014), esurance (2013) and USAA (2012).
The nomination form is available on the IMCA website. The deadline for entries is May 1, 2015.
