Everest Re Group Ltd. said that Michael Mulray will be joining the company as chief underwriting officer for the U.S. insurance operations of its Everest National Insurance Co.
Mulray joins Everest from General Electric Co., where he spent the last decade in a variety of risk and insurance leadership positions. This included his role as enterprise risk leader within GE Upstream Oil & Gas Division and as a member of the GE Insurance and Risk Management practice, maintaining responsibility for casualty risk management across GE’s global portfolio.
Mulray began his career with Aon Risk Services, serving in a variety of roles in both the U.S. and Bermuda markets.
Mulray will based in the organization’s Liberty Corner, NJ offices.
