These folks at PURE have some crazy low rates in the Houston area. I looked at their AM Best numbers and just cannot grasp what is going on. It looks like they have a low loss ratio, but the combined ratio is terrible.
So now my question is why do they need to be “Re capitalized?”
I am really looking for a real answer as to why the numbers could look like they do, the other companies we represent look more traditional in the loss ratios and combined ratios.
