California drivers shopping for auto insurance online can now receive USAA rate quotes and coverage information in their Google search results through the Google Compare service that debuted in March 2015.
USAA is piloting the program in California in an effort to explore new ways to reach more of the estimated 60 million Americans who may be eligible for USAA insurance products.
As part of Google quote process, users will be asked a couple of questions to determine potential eligibility with USAA. If their answers indicate they may be eligible, USAA quotes will be included in the list of quotes they receive. The quotes on Google Compare are based on the same rating system as those provided on USAA’s website or the USAA Mobile App.
The user can then call USAA to determine eligibility and purchase the policy. Also available on the Google quote page are consumer reviews, ratings, and awards for the carriers.
The USAA family of companies provides insurance, banking, investments, retirement products and advice to 10.9 million current and former members of the U.S. military and their families. USAA membership is open to all who are serving our nation in the U.S. military or have received a discharge type of Honorable – and their eligible family members.
