QBE North America said Eric Pruss, formerly of Chubb and Fireman’s Fund, has joined the organization as senior vice president and head of Property/Casualty Personal Lines.
Pruss will lead the business of personal insurance products distributed through independent agents and brokers, affiliated agencies, and affinity groups, and is also responsible for overseeing QBE’s farm and ranch insurance business.
Pruss brings 25 years of insurance industry and management consulting experience, having led and managed within personal lines operations at both Chubb and Fireman’s Fund. His experience encompasses marketing, distributing, underwriting and servicing.
Pruss is based in the New York office and reports to Alan Driscoll, president, P&C Standard Lines, and chief underwriting officer.
