Can someone explain this to me? I still don’t get it. Good deal or not, AIG management had to have agreed to it to have received the loan, right? How can Greenberg come back after the fact and demand part of the payment back? Because, this seems kind of like taking a loan out on a car, and then once you’ve made the final payment and have the title in hand, demanding the financing company give you your money back. :/
