Brady Kelley, president and CEO of the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association, said the organization has been doing a lot to promote the E&S segment in hopes of attracting talent
“There is no doubt a real race for talent in this industry,” Kelly told Insurance Journal’s Andrea Wells, vice president of content, at the WSIA Annual Marketplace in San Diego.
Kelley said WSIA has been reaching out to historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), Spanish-speaking institutions, risk management/insurance programs with diverse populations, and beyond RMI to attract professionals to the surplus lines industry.
