Forrest T. Jones & Company (FTJ) has completed an agreement with Liberty International Underwriters (LIU) to serve as the program administrator for LIU’s national accountants’ professional liability insurance program for accounts with annual revenues up to $5 million.
FTJ will market, underwrite and administer the program under its ProDefender product line. The program will be offered to eligible accounts on an admitted basis in all states and the District of Columbia, except Alaska and Vermont.
ProDefender’s coverage can be tailored to CPA firms performing a range of accounting services.
FTJ will continue to serve the professional liability needs of larger CPA firms, whose revenues exceeding $5 million per year, on an open brokerage basis.
FTJ is an insurance broker and administrator formed in 1953 to provide insurance products and other financial services to members of associations and other affinity groups. Based in Kansas City, Mo, the firm provides insurance programs and full-service administration for more than 80 national associations and hundreds of employer groups.
Liberty International Underwriters (LIU) is part of the global specialty lines division of Boston-based Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Program coverage will be provided by Liberty Insurance Underwriters Inc.
