    I see Geckos, cartoon dogs, and stags. Where is the love among insurance company ad execs for polar bears?

      Well, perhaps Progressive will dismiss Flo as a spokesperson. She is a little long in the tooth. The botox treatments and plastic surgery has not done much good.

      By the way, remember some year ago, Travelers was sold to Citi Group along with their Umbrella? Then Travelers got away from them and had to get their Umbrella back for a price. That is a great symbol for a great brand.

    This was twenty years ago, but I worked with a producer who came to the agency I was with because he was asked to leave MetLife for one reason – he had been a Chippendale dance and that didn’t match the Peanuts “message”. Their loss.
