The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) announced that Kate Carey will be joining the organization as vice president, federal government relations.
Carey has worked in the insurance industry for more than 25 years as a strategic government relations and public policy attorney. Most recently, she served as vice president and head of federal government relations for MetLife.
Carey holds a B.A. degree from the University of Santa Clara. She completed her J.D. from Catholic University and an L.L.M. from Georgetown. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar.
PCI represents more than 1,000 member companies writing $195 billion in annual premium, 39 percent of the nation’s property/casualty insurance.
