Dave, this article is well timed. I had one of my bigger clients make a request to insure a 50′ yacht he just purchased to tool around in the Gulf of Mexico. I will be going to the Yacht markets to see what they can do. Problem may be in the mooring since it will be on the coast and that makes it hard due to the hurricane exposure.
