I am not an Uber fan, and don’t have a dog in this fight.
but it is just plain wrong Uber to have to settle, much less be face with this lawsuit in the first place. it should have been thrown out thru a summary judgement the day after it was filed.
these drivers knew exactly what they were getting in to, and signed contracts to that effect. they have no valid claim, in my opinion.
