Liberty International Underwriters (LIU) has named Casey Hartley as U.S. General Liability product line leader. Based in Atlanta, Miss., Hartley will have responsibility for the technical underwriting, portfolio performance and overall product strategy for the primary general liability portfolio.
LIU’s General Liability team specializes in difficult-to-place risks including commercial general liability and product liability.
Hartley joins the team from LIU parent Liberty Mutual’s Commercial Insurance business unit, where she has served in a number of underwriting and distribution roles – most recently as vice president and underwriting manager of the Southeast region. She has 15 years of experience in the insurance business, which includes primary casualty underwriting and regional product roles with Crum & Forster.
Hartley will report to Diana Cossetti, head of LIU U.S. Casualty.
