Ironshore Names Aggarwal, 4 Others from Allied World to Global M&A Insurance Team for Americas

Ironshore International has announced its global Mergers & Acquisitions unit will establish an office for transactions in the North and Latin American regions. The Americas team will be led by Navine K. Aggarwal, serving as senior vice president, head of Mergers & Acquisitions of the Americas, who will be based in New York.

Aggarwal most recently was vice president of Mergers & Acquisitions with Allied World Assurance Co., responsible for establishing its North American practice group. He focused on structuring Representations & Warranties and Tax and Contingent Liability coverages for private equity firms and corporate-driven transactions.

In addition, Ironshore has named management appointments for the M&A team’s New York, Atlanta and Toronto offices. These regional underwriting specialists also join directly from Allied World, where each served in various positions within the mergers and acquisitions sector of the insurance industry. Joining Aggarwal in the M&A practice in New York will be Patrick Ryan, vice president, and Aartie Manansingh, assistant vice president. Elizabeth Cunnane, vice president, and Andrew Stewart, vice president, will operate from the Atlanta and Toronto offices, respectively.

Aggarwal will report to Rowan Bamford, global head, Mergers and Acquisitions and Tax Insurance.

Ironshore International provides specialty coverages within the M&A sector, including Representations and Warranties, Warranty & Indemnity, as well as Tax Liability programs for complex corporate transactional risk. Ironshore’s global platform includes underwriters located in London, Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo.
