Aspen Insurance announced the appointment of Nicky Alexandru as head of U.S. Crisis Management. Alexandru will develop a U.S. product contamination/recall capability, which will be a new Crisis Management line of business for Aspen in the U.S.
He joins Aspen Insurance from American International Group (AIG) where he was Global Head of Crisis Management.
Alexandru is based in New York and reports to Henry MacHale, who is global head of Crisis Management for Aspen.
“We see opportunities going forward to expand our presence in the Crisis Management arena and product contamination/recall is a valuable diversification from, and addition to, our existing lines,” said MacHale.
