“If permitted to proceed, Anthem’s purchase of Cigna likely would lead to higher prices and reduced benefits,”

The ACA Did that. Why is that still allowed?

FFA, all these carriers met at the White House when this all went down, were assured they would be saved if they got into trouble. They went “All In” and Blue Cross has sent me bulletins confirming same. I wonder if Obama sent them some cash in NC when they paid out $775 million in claims while colleting $75 Million + subsidies last year.

FFA, do you think these carriers will use their subsidy money to defend this suit? How about another round of increases to consumers? They will work it in somewhere.

He stiffed Land of Lincoln which is why they are shutting down. No provisions for SEP due to carrier shut down. 49000 people waiting and wondering what is going to happen. Right now looks like 49000 people in IL are uninsured.

Not sure they can count on United Healthcare to come in and save the day. They have been busy getting out of exchanges all over the country and I am not sure anyone will think Illinois is an attractive place to do business given the political mess they have had for years.
