Ronnell Agatep has joined XL Catlin’s global retail Accident & Health (A&H) insurance business as its global head of underwriting. Based in New York, Agatep assumes this newly-created role to drive product development and underwriting guidelines for XL Catlin’s new retail A&H business unit
Agatep reports to Patrick Corbett, global chief underwriting officer, Retail A&H.
Agatep joins XL Catlin from Liberty Mutual where he served as senior vice president of Global A&H. During his 25-year career, he has held senior A&H management and underwriting positions in the U.S., UK, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
XL Catlin’s new retail A&H business offers group personal accident, group business travel, and individual leisure travel and employer/non- employee group programs.
