Insurance broker Hub International Limited (HUB) has named Marc Cohen, currently regional president of HUB East Region, as president of HUB International as part of a restructuring of top management.
Cohen will replace Richard Gulliver, currently president of HUB International, who has been named vice chairman of HUB International and who will continue to direct the firm’s mergers and acquisitions activity.
The brokerage also named Lawrence Lineker, currently president of HUB Canada, as executive vice president of HUB International.
All positions to be effective January 1, 2017. All will report to Martin P. Hughes, chairman of the board and chief executive officer.
Hughes said the appointments will support “significant growth through mergers and acquisitions, organic growth and future business strategies that address industry changes.”
“We have a tremendous depth of experience and talent within HUB, which made the decision to promote from within compelling,” said Hughes.
Cohen will be responsible for growth and productivity improvements across HUB.
