Arch Insurance Group, a member of Arch Capital Group Ltd., has formed an exclusive underwriting partnership with American Specialty Insurance and Risk Services, Inc. (a division of Brown & Brown) to offer customized insurance programs for the sports, recreation and entertainment industries.
Drew Smith, president of American Specialty said the insurance program will be enhanced and expanded through this partnership, allowing American Specialty to offer additional products and programs to it retail insurance agency and broker partners located throughout the United States.
Smith added that a new program for ice rinks, broader property insurance capabilities, and workers compensation coverage are among the planned expansions.
American Specialty provides 50+ specialty niche insurance programs and risk services to clients in the principal areas of amateur sports, professional sports, motorsports, recreation and entertainment. American Specialty is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brown & Brown, Inc.
