Yep, he’s hard at work assembling a cabinet that makes cartoon villains look like cuddly stuffed animals.

Sure, postpone it until he’s president and has so much more free time. /s

How dumb do they think people are?

He already has his kids– running a “blind” trust that’s as blind as an eagle– sitting in meetings w/ foreign officials.

    What an utter disgrace.

Captain, don’t you ever get tired of this stupid ranting? Do you remember anything Bill Clinton did? Why don’t you rant about his morals a bit? He is the epitome of GROSS, immoral, rapist (redundant), murderer, etc.. Why do the Clintons get a pass with you? I don’t love nor admire Trump, but you are stuck on this silly rant and ignore the Clintons.

        Perplexed,
I have criticized the Clintons. I did not vote for Bill. I think he is a horrible husband. I don’t think he is moral. He never wanted to date his own daughter, though. I think if Hillary did something criminal, she should be held responsible by our court system. That all said, they aren’t relevant. Their political careers are over. President-elect Drumpf is relevant. And, no, I think people should be reminded of the 45th President’s comments and behavior. His words and actions don’t simply go away because he’s going to be in The Oval Office. He needs to be held accountable and I was merely responding to Excite’s comments.

Why do I feel like they are thumbing Patticake up? Back to that whole hypocrisy commentary. It’s truly amazing.

I even agreed with Patticake on the Sandy Hook article while trying to show our new President is a friend of Alex Jones, who denied it happened. Further, our President believes Alex Jones is a media outlet he can trust. I and anyone who grieves with Sandy Hook should see that as problematic.

Captain Planet has obviously never owned and operated a for-profit business, let alone hundreds of them. Doing business in an overly-litigious society leads to lawsuits which are frivolous or of questionable merit which nonetheless work their way through the system. There are legitimate disagreements on how business is conducted and there are literally thousands of reasons for disagreements to lead to lawsuits – this is for better or worse a cost of doing business today.

By the way, same general idea applies to his “bankruptcy” critics. You try opening a few hundred businesses and see how many fail. Being profitable is not a given and running a profitable business is a challenge – especially during recessionary periods. Many companies failed during the Great Recession not because the owners were frauds or poor business people – the “system” let them down through excesses which led to a boom/bust scenario.

So, Captain Planet, grow up and join the real world.

But is it rational for the American Taxpayer? I don’t buy that.

You don’t want to stay in the White House? Fine. But pay for your own transportation when you have to come to DC because YOU chose to live in another state.

If the Oval Office isn’t “ready” when he needs to move in (this still has not been confirmed, but for arguments sake, let’s say it has been) use Room 180 or the Old Executive Office Building.

If the decision is solely Trump’s, we shouldn’t have to pay transportation costs for a President to fly from his apartment to DC when there’s a perfectly good place for the President to stay in DC.

Trump said he would be splitting time in DC and NY, so I’m taking him at his word that he knows what he’s talking about and plans on doing the thing he said he would do.

I’m not concerned about vacations, because all presidents take vacations. I’m concerned that Trump wants the American Taxpayer to pay for his transportation SOLELY because he decided not to live in the White House full time (assuming Oval Office repairs are done in time – if not, let’s ‘start the clock’ once he’s able to live in DC full time).

I don’t have to “HOPE” for anything. I didn’t vote for the orange clown, and I didn’t vote for the warhawk either. We just had a lose-lose election. Brava, US…brava.

And–*technically* (see–that’s how you use emphasis on the internets without being a fool with caps lock on)he hasn’t won the election yet. He lost the popular election, and he won’t *officially* win the actual election until the Electoral College votes on December 19th.

However, that being said, unless we have another unprecedented moment this election (that would be enough faithless electors to shift the vote to the warhawk) Chump will be the next President of the United States. God have mercy on our souls.

At least stand up comics will have comedy gold for the next four years.

Oh, and to anyone but a billionaire–$25 million is hardly chump change. Particularly when the plaintiff attorneys waived their fees and declared they were handling this pro bono. And the $25 million is a decent cut of Chump’s *liquid* assets. Which are far less that his reported net worth of $4.5billion. Forbes estimated his liquid cash is about $300million. And that was back in June, before the real election campaign costs went into effect.

How about music, food, or what this forum is intended for, insurance. Are you as ready for a hard market as I am?

            Hey Yogi,
Want to try and find something we agree on? I’m game. I know Agent likes golf and good BBQ. I know he and I agree on The First Tee org, too. We can still disagree politically, and that’s one reason why America is so dang great. How about you and I choose respect over hate? I’m an American just like you. I’m an insurance professional just like you. I’m a dad, have 3 daughters. I’m a dog owner and lover. I have the utmost respect for our men and women serving in the forces and in local uniform. My dad served in The Army. My friend who is a Sgt. just lost one of her young and promising police officers to some lunatic. My family hosted a dinner for all the police officers on our street including a deputy sheriff. Any of this sound like something we can agree on yet?

There is no good reason to postpone the trial. He should have no special privilege in this case. His attorneys can question him on video or he can get on his plane and take a trip to Southern California.

I wonder if Trump’s attorneys will be paid if they don’t get him out of a trial?

They are paid well, and did well in today’s settlement for a mere $25M.

What else do libbies have to attack the WINNER?

What else do libbies have to attack the WINNER?

First, who says “libbies?” Is that the new special name for those who have not fallen in line with our future Leader?

And what else is there to attack him? Tons, and it hasn’t even really started. This unqualified (ask any Republican newspaper), racist (Justice Department racial discrimination settlement), misogynist (pigs, dogs), deviant (sexual assualt because he can), xenophobic (Muslims and Latinos), proudly uninformed (nuclear triad, anyone?), dangerous (why have nukes if you don’t use them), thin-skinned (Damn you, SNL!), anti-Semitic (Bannon), white nationalist (Bannon), neo-Nazi (Bannon), weirdly distractable (Damn you, Hamilton cast!), bone spurred (left foot, no right, no left), short fingered vulgarian – and the pug-uglies he will surround himself with – will be deluged with ridicule and scorn, and will deserve all of it.

Oh, and if all of that made-up birther nonsense caused millions of people to question Obama’s legitimacy, what do you say to being elected via the anachronistic quirk of the electoral college and losing the popular vote by 2 million or more. Usurper.

        Keep up your futile attack.

        Resistance is futile.

But it will be entertaining to watch liberals continue resistance and become more and more frustrated with their position, which is a result of THEIR agenda being soundly rejected over the last 8-10 years.

Pro-tip on using your sources. And good on you for citing one. But, did you know you and I can both edit Wikipedia? Not a strong source of fact.

Reasonable, you have never heard Trump say anything against Mexicans UNLESS they’re illegal. He has never uttered a word against Mexicans or queers, but if you listen to main stream media you will not know that because they are the ones saying that he has. You should get your information from an outlet that isn’t liberal.

Perplexed, not true regarding saying things against Mexicans unless illegals. Remember reading about him saying some not to nice things about an American born judge (who’s parents are of Mexican descent) because he disagreed with him. You can defend The Donald all you want to. However, be honest with yourself. He makes a point of offending more than 50% of the population: women, people of color, muslins, etc. The reason so many voted for him is because they’re tired of Washington politics with most lifer politicians only looking out for themselves and their friends and not focusing on what’s best for most in the country. Appears from what I’ve read in the last 2 weeks that he’s already backtracking on some of his promises.

Exactly right, Ohio. He isn’t pursuing the “lock her up” mantra. That will cause some buyer’s remorse in some of his voters. Next up, failing at “wall”. And, he’s softening on climate science. I will say these are all good things and I recognize him showing Presidential qualities in all of those decisions. I promised I’d point out the good in the guy I certainly didn’t support. But, he is our President, and I’m going to give him his props when they are due.
