I played 35 holes on December 28th here in Des Moines. 4 years ago, one of our courses decided it would stay open year round. I have been able to play every month of the year as a result. That had never happened in this state since as far back as anyone can remember. Unheard of to be able to play golf in all 12 months here. A couple years ago, I even got to play on my birthday in January. And, with our 14 day forecast, looks like I’ll get to play at least close to it again this year.
They should also do this in other areas since blue states like California with large successful economies support smaller, failing economies in red states for the most part. Blue states should enter into interstate compacts for everything from popular vote compacts to social security, health care, trade, etc., Let the Trumpkins destroy federal programs, and then instead of supporting red states start to support mainly blue states who share their beliefs.
Red states constantly say they are against this stuff but overwhelmingly take in federal money from blue states. End Republican welfare and then sue states that pass on externalities to other states.
Spot on, UW! I’m sick of red states like the Middle East of the US (Texas) saying how much they hate the fed and want to secede. Then, The Lord punishes them constantly with Acts of God devastation and they are holding out their hands to Uncle Sam himself asking for a handout. Texas, you Red State Welfare Queen!
Didn’t CA, you know, the state that has the large successful economy (I still can’t stop laughing at that!!!) also say that they want to secede? What is stopping them? Their large successful economy?
UW says: ….”since blue states like California with large successful economies…” WHAT??!! Since when has CA had a successful economy!?? Please fill me in as I am apparently missing something here…successful economy…BWAAAHAAAHAHAAAAHAAAA! That’s a good one, UW!!
Idiot, California has a high GDP/Capita, higher than Texas (one of the few conservative states with a successful economomy, although worse than California’s). It has the larges GDP of any state.
They also have a great college system. For some odd reason most of the creative work, e.g. Hollywood comes from there, and most of the tech innovation comes from there as well.
What you are missing is any information on this topic.
I think it’s Patticake’s brain on Faux News. Or anyone who is allergic to truth and fact for that matter.

And, for contrast, how about that conservative republican paradise known as Kansas? Now there is a perfect example of what happens when they give huge tax cuts to the rich.

You aren’t missing anything Patticake. California has been threatening to secede. A bunch of sore losers who let millions of illegals vote hoping that would get Hilliary over the hump in this non Democracy. They have huge debt in that state despite taxing anything that moves. They were counting on Hilliary to bail them out, but they are into plan Z now.
Source it. Please remember you keep saying I don’t know how to google, so it’s on you to prove what you said is true. Do you have anything, besides more insults and attacks?

How much money do red states take from California? Hmmm?
Red States do not take any money from California unless you count the business California has run off. California contributes 13.3 % to the total US economy. 10% of California’s general fund revenues come from capital gains taxed. Also 34% of the nations welfare recipients live in California but only 12% of the US population resides there. California is 3rd among states in per-capita spending on welfare. With that being said it would be interesting to see how strong California economy would be if they lost federal program funding and how willing California would be to implement all these climate change programs at the expense of tax payers with no real proof humans are contributing to the problem. However while some would say humans have a direct cause to the problem the case would be the west coast are the biggest offenders. Easy to see why California wants to implements changes. They are trying to fix the problem they created. Fires, and droughts on a scale never seen before. The big one should be along shortly. Lets be honest, this is a shell game to look good on the front side while selling carbon offsets on the back side. We all want cleaner everything, lets just get it done honestly and not under the guise of a lie.
As soon as Trump cuts off the Sanctuary city money, let’s see how long they last.

This is moronic. People and businesses in blue states, like California, pay taxes, and that is redistributed to red states. If you don’t know this you aren’t competent to discuss this.
California is actually closer to 15% of the entire US economy. Aside from just welfare there are roads, hospitals, science funding, military, and on and on, and California residents pay a disproportionate amount compared to most red states. This isn’t debatable, there are dozens if not hundreds of studies on it, refute them if you don’t believe it. You can disagree with the philosophy, but not the facts.
Include California, and for simplicity make a straight line from the top of Arizona to the top of North Carolina. Build a wall and make the South pay for it, since they have had a free ride. In 10 years they would almost be Mexico, in 15 just as bad, and after that probably worse.
Canadian PM Justin Trudeau is concerned over the potential number of socialist, sore-loser Hollyweird celebs who may leave the US and settle in Canada. Although Canada is definitely a Socialist country at this point, they can’t tolerate the radical and witless type of socialists in Hollyweird and the US music industry.
He has threatened to build a wall and to make Trump pay for it.
“Also, thanks to President-elect trump, Ford has cancelled plans to invest and expand in Mexico, will invest $700 million here and create 700 more union jobs.”
In this battle, Trump = Cassius Clay / Muhammad Ali, Climate Scientists = Sonny Liston.
CLANG! CLANG!
Round 1!
WTF – Trump is no Cassius Clay. CC was a fighter, Trump is only a counter puncher when his widdle feeling are hurt.
And the Climate Changer true believers are down. Start the count. It is all over, clang, clang, clang. The new sheriff has won.
People are playing golf, outside, on grass, in Buffalo, in January for the third straight year. Sounds normal.
That has not happened more than once or twice over the previous 30+ years and never in back-to-back years, let alone 3.
I played 35 holes on December 28th here in Des Moines. 4 years ago, one of our courses decided it would stay open year round. I have been able to play every month of the year as a result. Fine. If they want to go rogue, let them pay for it. National Policy = Federal Funding; State Policy = State Funding

Don’t forget CA is the largest ag state in the US. They literally feed the rest of America. You like food? Thank California.

Thanks, Georgia!
Thanks, Kansas!
Thanks, Nebraska!

Thanks, Texas!
Thanks, Washington!

Didn’t dysfunctional California pass a law taxing cow farts on the dairy farms? How do they expect to enforce it?
To Wisconsin I would say, You can try to hide the truth…but you can’t hide from the truth.
To Progressives, you can try to hide the truth, but can’t from it. The election just proved that.
Teflon Don says ignore all the problems and they will go away. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
And if they don’t go away, in four years don’t run for re-election. Move on to something else. Or declare moral bankruptcy. Whatever.
And this here chicken sure as heck didn’t vote for Crooked Hillary neither.
When did “Teflon Don” say that? Link, please.
Someone says something, then hedges with ‘run for re-election’?
WTF?
No one here but us chickens, I guess.
Wow! Captain Planet believes in GOD!
Yes, I believe in Jesus Christ. And the real one, not Supply Side Jesus like most conservatives do.

17 more days until our LONG NATIONAL NIGHTMARE ends.
Despite all the sore losers, he will be sworn in and let the swamp draining begin.
Agent,
I find it so ironic that you criticize others for falling for President Obama’s slogans, yet fall for President Trump’s.
He will refill the swamp with his own alligators and America may be greater for some, but less great for others.
So naive.
Ron, I hope you saw the Ford announcement just today. More and more large companies are now seeing the light. When will you? My guess is, never.
“Also, thanks to President-elect trump, Ford has cancelled plans to invest and expand in Mexico, will invest $700 million here and create 700 more union jobs.”

The swamp has been newly restocked with plenty of sharks to take your money and make the rich richer.
As of November 2016, California state has a surplus of $2.8 billion. Don’t let the facts get in the way of the Strumpets.
