I can see 65% of employers involved in E&O suits if firing somebody on a prescribe drug. You’re looking at invasion of privacy for questioning why employee maybe taking a medication. In addition, If you’re not a trained medical professional, would you not be stepping over the line questionnaire why a medication might be needed?
I agree with Agent. We should be consistent and treat marijuana the same as prescription drugs. Good job Agent! We knew you’d come around! Oh wait, maybe you just didn’t word your extremist viewpoint carefully.
Sad that the law is on the side of these drug abusers. As a supervisor my hands are tied in some ways. Xanax and Oxy- stuff are the drugs of choice. I am in pain because of a so called kidney stone, I am in one of “those” moods. lets just take a pill. Come on people deal with life. Funny thing is 4 of our female employees go to the same doctor. hint hint.

How about the Recreational users of Marijuana who report to work stoned or don’t show up at all because they are stoned?
