Markel Corporation reported thatGlenn Mozingohas been named managing director, Global Insurance Business Development, and corporate account executive. In this new role, Mozingo will serve as a key point of contact for brokers throughout the U.S. He will promote product lines underwritten by Markel’s Global Insurance Division and cultivate strategic relationships with production partners.
Britt Glisson, president of Markel’s Global Insurance Division, said Mozongo will “collaborate with key brokers and create profitable premium growth plans for our Global Insurance product lines.”
Mozingo brings more than 40 years of casualty and industry vertical experience to this role. He joined Markel Corp. in 2011 to lead Markel’s industry practice groups after serving as regional placement officer for Willis HRH’s Atlantic region. Prior to HRH, he was with Palmer & Cay in Virginia.
Mozingo is based inRichmond, Virginia, and reports to Glisson.
Markel’s Global Insurance Division is focused on large accounts and complex risks and provides casualty, professional liability, inland marine, and property insurance for policyholders in the U.S.,Bermuda,Ireland, the UK, and around the world.
