Global insurance broker and consultant Willis Towers Watson has named Joe Peiser as head of Broking, North America.
Peiser will be responsible for the company’s broking strategy in North America, working with the insurance carriers to obtain the best markets, price and terms for clients. He will also maintain his current role as head of Casualty Broking, where he oversees the company’s casualty portfolio of workers’ compensation, primary and excess casualty, product recall, and international casualty business.
New York-based Peiser joined Willis Towers Watson in 2014, bringing 30 years of insurance industry expertise. Before joining the company, he served as president of Wright Specialty Insurance Agency, a full-service managing general agency. From 1986 to 2005, Peiser held various leadership roles at Marsh and one of its predecessor companies, Johnson & Higgins.
