JLT Specialty Names Nichols as Senior Vice President

JLT Specialty USA, a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, announced the appointment of Grant Nichols as senior vice president.

Based in Philadelphia, Nichols will focus on brokering complex environmental insurance programs. He will be a senior broker in the JLT Environmental specialty group.

Nichols has 15 years of experience in risk management and insurance law. Prior to joining JLT, he practiced environmental law with Greenberg Traurig (2015-2017), managing environmental liabilities associated with corporate and real estate transaction. Earlier in his career, he was with the insurance practice of the national law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath (2006-2012). From 2012 to 2014, he was a senior production specialist with specialty insurer Ironshore.
