    ” We’re Curious and we don’t know.”

That is the quote from NAIC President Ted Nickel, in this July 24, 2017 article from InsuranceJournal.com about a nearly decade old industry-wide abuse of Big Data.

Ignorance is bliss… Each state’s insurance commissioner has the power to investigate and to charge companies for their investigation… American Family Mutual, whose HQ are in Madison, WI, has been involved with BGG Data aka Price Optimization aka Consumer Price Elasticity for over five years now and they AmFam are still at it.

Reports to as AmFam’s activity in this process were made to Insurance Commissioner Nickel by me nearly two years ago and he and his office did not investigate.Suggest see / Google “Chad Covelli American Family price optimization” for the truth.

Commissioner Nickel has also refused to rule the process of PO to be illegal in WI. Even though over twenty-something other states have deemed it illegal… The WI laws are based on the NAIC guidelines and are thus the same as those in over twenty other states who have properly defined and outlawed the process.

A scam for sure that benefits all insurance companies who write auto and homeowners coverage for WI risks and of paramount importance and profit to AMFAM. Also a scam nationally…

AMFAM has had the Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner running cover for them for over a decade…

Please support my fund to end the illegal acts of AMFAM and bring an end to PO and misuse of Big Data.

    Thank You,

All the data the commissioners need is there, and you are correct. They have the ability to not approve things like PO. PO is an EVIL practice that pro-customer states have CLEARLY outlawed. Speaks to the environment in WI that is in full out war to keep companies from moving to Des Moines.

It seems that some commissioners protect companies in their home states. We saw Director Huff do this in Missouri with Farm Bureau, while they were under scrutiny for their practices.

I believe that this is unfortunately the NAIC is ineffective at combatting Washington.
