So, what I got from the opening two paragraphs was that Fitch doesn’t anticipate that any (re)insurers will be downgraded, but that, if certain things happen, some could be downgraded. Duh! I think I’ll continue reading the article, hoping for SOMETHING useful… all digits on all my paws are crossed for good luck.
There was scant informative news in the remainder of the article; e.g. preliminary loss estimates. However, the numbers of the preliminary estimates are just like opinions; i.e. everyone has one, they usually differ, and are not individually correct/ accurate.
