    …exercise, physical therapy, eating right, having a social support system and developing good coping skills…

    after a painful traumatic injury, the patient is going to have to be able to do all that?

    Sadly some have gone the other route of heroin addition because it is cheaper and more available. So very sad.

      My neighbors just buried their 38 year old son – OD’ed on heroin –after having been denied adequate pain medicine after a very car accident.

        That is sad, Really?. I know several people that live with awful pain every day of their lives and wonder how they go on.

          Sad yes, that they are turning to heroin, not that they are in pain. Sorry that you misunderstood perplexed.

    I would imagine the results would be even better if recreational marijuana was also legal so people who either have no health insurance or very high deductibles, could manage their own pain more safely.
