Well, there are insurance companies who need to figure this out in order to become more appealing to potential employees. We are now in an “experience economy”. You need to change one’s experience if you want to achieve the “cool” factor.

behave like an adult and accept fair criticism. We who read and comment here want adult level conversations on the TOPIC of the related article. If you can’t follow those simple guidelines, post elsewhere, where you can spout your vile hatred for those whose opinions don’t match yours.

Doug,
Is your company doing anything these days to try and capture the “cool” factor? I speak with our executive leadership often about changes we can make around here. We are actively developing our “story” and updating our facilities and resources as a result.
Well, we did just launch a cannabis program for dispensaries (recreational and medicinal). You can’t get any more cool than weed, lol.
On a serious (-ly cool) note, our marketing department is the definition of cool. Brokers we haven’t worked with in years recognize us because of our branding. Our mailers and swag we send out are second-to-none, interactive, and engaging.
If only the rest of the company would catch up, since our insured-interaction is stuck in the last century, frankly.
Agent,
Are you insulting a fellow poster yet again? Why do you consistently turn to personal attacks? You constantly complain when any are directed towards you. Heck, you ask for those stated about public figures be censored.
Doug, thank you for your intelligent response to my question regarding the topic at hand. It sounds like your company is cognizant of the challenge at hand to attract both today’s and tomorrow’s talent. Kudos to you guys!
What does this article have to do with insurance? This seems like the wrong venue…

Our President is Cool, Authentic and definitely has the right attitude to deal with his opponents and in his quest to MAGA, MASA, MAFFPA.
Obese, dishonest, bully, orange, that hair, 5th grade vocabulary in a 70 year old, grifting others, admitting to sexual assault…definitely not cool.
LOL. IMHO, GFY.
I can post just acronyms too!

Why are your comments not taken down Planetoid? Andrew, are you watching?
Maybe Andrew doesn’t believe in censoring. Evidently, you do.
If you think Donald J. Trump is cool and authentic, I have a Nike jacket with Adidas zippers to sell you.
Sorry, supposed to feed here:

Its pretty sad when we have to rely on Yogi’s post about common decency. That is how low we have sunk here, folks.
Agent: stay on topic and quit berating and inciting others who differ from you.
