I guess this is what happens with little regulations over them.
Old school R/C fliers with their planes never were issue, so few.
Now you have anyone doing it.
It’s too bad there can’t be altitude restriction on these drone/rc toys general public is using.
I can see a determined Terrorist getting a drone and flying it right into an airliner on approach or an airliner taking off. They may just put a small bomb on it to bring the airliner down.
A bird strike in a small airplane is very dangerous. I dread the thought of a drone strike through the windshield of a small airplane that I might fly. A drone is solid, and carries a battery. There are youtube videos of bird strikes showing non trivial damage.
