CVS stopped selling cigarettes several years ago, to be consistent with being a health product outlet/ market place. To be consistent with acquiring Aetna, will CVS now end their sales of unhealthy high-sugar soda, candy, and snack food? Stay tuned!

If CVS runs this entity like they have their drug stores, look for big trouble on the horizon. They can’t hold a candle to Walgreens.

Got a prescription filled at CVS. Bottle says: No refills. After a bit, they called me to see if I wanted them to request a refill. Spouse said okay. They called the doc to get him to authorize a refill. Doc never called them back. CVS called and left me a message that doc refused to authorize a refill. Staying with my little pharmacist; he sells lottery tickets too.

We use a local pharmacy and they greet their customers with a smile and cheerfully fill the prescription. CVS pharmacists are too big to do that and mostly surly.
