I told her job was not in danger, that she does a good job and she does deserve a raise. She came back with an offer to increase her “job duties”. Then she made a final push stating her hubby wasn’t getting the job done at home. I did refused her offer, but it was difficult cause she had a smoking body.
First scenario, don’t even ask. While it is probably not harassment, it could be interpreted as such based on what she may say. Besides, you will not know if she truly likes you or just your title.
Second scenario, well done. I can only imagine how much restraint that must have taken.

One upon a time, I had a female producer. I went on a field appointment with her as it was a big account. It was obvious that she was either very cold or very excited.
FFA, I hired a woman several years ago and in the interview process, she was all prim and proper with her blouse all the way up to her chin. After we hired her, she started wearing low cut she had a prominent Tat on her breast. We told her she had to keep it covered up when working for us because it was not business like when working with customers.
Needless to say, she didn’t last long. She had attendance problems and didn’t get her work done. Was happy to replace her.
Some of the comments out here and those I have heard from our president are exactly what I have to teach and protect my daughters against. To all my female colleagues reading some of these posts, rest assured, we don’t all act and think like this. Many of us can separate the bedroom from the workplace…even with business casual clothing. Low-cut tops – give me a break! When I am working with you, I need your brain and not your bosom.
I’m curious how all this is going to play out in single gender bathrooms? I mean when I used one in Spain this year, it was horrible. That woman sitting in the stall next to me, i felt sorry for her. Did I harass her asking for a roll of toilet paper under the stall? I did touch her hand when she handed it to me. Should I be worried?
