Huh? What’s the MADA with you? Lack of railroad safety makes Americans die again. Most of his decisions make Americans die again. Heck, people in general die from his decisions. I am going to make MADA hats – they will be awesome. I’ll make them in blood red. What’s your address? I’ll send you one for Christmas.

Both this crash and the Philadelphia crash are engineer error and had nothing to do with the safety rules. Actually their actions were against the rules. President TRUMP is not trying to kill Americans; he is doing a good job protecting us.

Haven’t heard the President tell engineers to go 80 in a 30 mile zone. He did say he would begin infrastructure repair soon. Obama said his stimulus would create shovel ready jobs that never appeared. Trump is actually creating jobs and many will be used for actual infrastructure. Planet is flying false colors yet again.

“First, they’ll simply say your facts are false, or state lies or twisted facts. Second, after step 1, they’ll attack your credibility / integrity, or question your sanity. Third, if those two steps do not deter or discourage you, they’ll try to change the subject by taking the discussion down a rabbit hole or make a Straw Man Argument using your words in a convoluted manner that doesn’t convey your original message / point.”

Sounds exactly like to game plan from the right from 2009-16.

@Ron; big difference; we are now seeing the lies and deception that Conservatives were fighting against. Recent example; Obama overlooking drug shipments by Iran in exchange for the ‘IraNuke BaDDeal’.

Please explain how Republicans were ‘taking the conversation down a rabbit hole’ or ‘were changing the subject (from corruption)’. As I see it, Republicans were consistent on Benghazi, Email concealment and destruction of private server, Fast & Furious, IRS harassment of Tea Party Patriots, etc.

You literally wrote, “You’re confusing safety regulation rollbacks with Obama’s policies to allow MS-13 gangs to enter the US by not enforcing border security and immigration laws, and terrorists to enter via his DACA and immigration no-vetting procedures.”

And then you wrote, “Try to stick to the subject of railway safety.”

        hahahahahahaha

First, I stated the poster confused two POTUSes actions that yield dangers (e.g. MS-13 allowed to enter via open borders) versus those that do not (de-regulation). Second, I reminded the poster to follow rules, contrary to what the train engineer did.

I thought you were super concerned with off-topic posts? Oh that’s right, it’s just a ploy to mix it up from whining “straw man, word parsing, FAKE NEWS!” every time somebody makes a point you can’t counter.

Everything President TRUMP does or tries to do is met with questions and criticisms.
Government should get out of the railroad business and sell it to private enterprise. That safety system that is now delayed again would have been completed if the private sector was in charge.

The government IS out of the railroad business, or at least the FREIGHT rail business, which can be profitable. Governments run PASSENGER lines, because they cannot be profitable under present conditions (maybe under any conditions).

While derailments like this get all the headlines because they are spectacular as well as tragic, these deaths are by no means the largest rail safety issue. Three people died in this accident, which is three too many. However, nearly three pedestrians (trespassers and suicides) die EACH DAY on US railroad rights-of-way. The article states that “nearly 300 fatalities” of this type (derailments) have occurred since 1970. Over that same period, a conservative estimate of right-of-way deaths is 30,000, the size of a small city. It IS true that right-of-way deaths are more difficult to prevent, but they shouldn’t be ignored any longer.

Safety rules aren’t the problem in this case, and most others. It is the error of the engineer who allowed the train to continue at 80 mph thru a 30 mph section of track.

Tell that to William Ryan Owens (Yemen), LaDavid Johnson + Bryan Black + Jeremiah Johnson + Dustin Wright (all Trump’s Benghazi – Niger).
