Super Regional P/C Insurer Conference Registration Underway

February 1, 2018

Following up on a sold-out inaugural conference last year, the industry’s second annual Super Regional P/C Insurer Conference has been scheduled for July 22-24, 2018 at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

The conference is being presented by Wells Media Group’s Insurance Journal, Carrier Management and Claims Journal in partnership with the actuarial firm Demotech Inc.

The theme of the 2018 event is “Motivate, Integrate, Innovate!” Attendees will leave the conference with key takeaways on how to find and motivate people and policyholders, integrate new ideas, technologies and processes, and innovate new products and policies to meet the needs and expectations of customers, agents and employees, according to the sponsors.

“We were delighted with the feedback last year,” said Mark Wells, chairman and CEO of Wells Media Group, Insurance Journal’s parent organization. “This conference is created specifically with P/C carrier leaders in mind. Their challenges are unique. While our primary outreach is to the Super Regional carrier leaders, any size carrier is welcome and will benefit from the program we’re creating.”

Details of the 2018 agenda are still being finalized. The keynote speaker has been selected and will be announced soon, along with the growing roster of experts ready to share their outlooks and discuss topics from autonomy to cyber to insurtech to wildfires.

Insurance Journal and Demotech have a 12 -year research partnership. Each year this partnership yields the Super Regional P/C Insurers list which is published in Insurance Journal. In 2018, the list will appear as a feature of the July 2 edition of Insurance Journal Magazine.

The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa was originally the famed Lake Geneva Playboy Club Hotel. It’s home to one of the best golf courses in the Midwest and is accessible from both Chicago and Milwaukee.

“The location is terrific,” said Demotech President Joseph Petrelli. “The conference facility is limited to 200 seats, which ensures attendees that the event is neither too intimate nor too large.”

If there are still seats available, early bird pricing will extend until March 15, 2018. To find out more and to register for the event, visit: http://www.superregional.net. For sponsorship information, email: superregional@insurancejournal.com.
