I don’t believe a Franchisor should be responsible for employees that belong to a Franchisee, unless the Franchisor enforces Franchise-wide guidelines that cause an “injury” to an employee.
Also, how does this issue of employees differ from forcing small franchisees to offer medical coverage to their employees? I believe Obama set it up so that more than 20 employees in a company had to be offered medical benefits.

This will be a non-issue in the future. As those who advocate for higher minimum wages, thereby making labor cost more than their market wage would be, we will see more robots flipping burgers. A welcome change in my opinion as robots will not tend to screw up my order and frown while doing so.

You’d be frowning, too, if you were an adult working 2-3 jobs just to support your family. Add to that the fact your owner hasn’t give you a wage increase in 3+ years. So, there you are still making minimum wage to flip crappy-tasting, health-harming, dung sandwiches.

Captain, how many adults with families do you really know that work at McDonalds? Outside of management, fast food jobs were never designed for making people rich. I see very few people outside of teens and retirees working at McDonalds.

how often do you visit mcdonalds to conduct your research and how many different locations do you go to? just saying, a statistically valid sample size is needed to support your argument here

So what do you want to be when you grow up confused? Many teens get their work experience at places like McDonalds. By the way, the jobs created during the Obama years were mainly the burger flipper jobs. Families often had 2 or 3 working part time to make ends meet. Now, we have the chance to create real jobs in this country because of the Tax bill passed.

You can advertise your $35. hamburgers in the NY Times and on CNN. I’m sure liberals will line up down the block every day to “walk the walk”.

With the rates some insurers charge those young drivers, they will need to make $50 per hour.
