Willis Towers Watson announced two senior appointments within its Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) segment to strengthen its health care platform.
Sue Chmieleski has been appointed health care industry leader, North America, CRB, where she will be responsible for strategy and serving a range of health care organizations including hospitals, integrated delivery systems, physician groups, long-term care facilities and managed care organizations.
Chmieleski is a 40-plus-year industry veteran and most recently served as president, North America Healthcare Division, Allied World Assurance Co. She is based in Hartford and reports to Rick Hawkinberry, chief operating officer, CRB, North America.
Kirsten Beasley has been appointed head of Health Care Broking, North America, CRB. In this newly created role, Beasley will be deliver highly specialized insurance coverages including professional, general and excess liability insurance for health care clients.
Beasley joined Willis Towers Watson in 2016 and has 19 years of experience in the health care and insurance industry, most recently serving as a senior vice president in the company’s Bermuda office. Previously, she was with Allied World Assurance Co’s health care underwriting practice in North America.
