Specialty Insurance Group (SIG), a unit of Everest Insurance and a member of the Everest Re Group companies, has released an online portal for brokers and clients to obtain immediate liability coverage for special events.
The SIG special event portal will enable brokers to secure instant liability coverage for events such as concerts, conferences, garden shows, and festivals. Coverage is provided through Everest National Insurance Co., an A.M. Best rated “A+, XV” insurer. Brokers who are interested in participating in the SIG special event portal program must be approved as a SIG portal producer.
The SIG special event, portal-driven program is the first in a series of offerings that will be released in the coming months, according to David Harris, head of Everest’s Specialty Insurance Group.
He added the portal will be a way for customers to receive quotes and binders, and pay their premiums online.
Jonathan Zaffino, president and CEO of Everest Insurance, said, the portal is part of Everest’s focus on expanding its multi-dimensional distribution platform.
Specialty Insurance Group is a member company of Everest Re Group, Ltd. Everest Insurance refers to the primary insurance operations of Everest Re Group, Ltd., and its affiliated companies which offer property, casualty and specialty lines insurance on both an admitted and non-admitted basis.
