Great American Insurance Group has hired Christopher M. Banocy as divisional vice president for Innovation Strategy within its Property & Casualty Group. In this role, Banocy will provide leadership, strategy, and direction surrounding the company’s innovation efforts.

He joins Great American from Erie Insurance, which he first joined in 2011 in a marketing position and where he most recently served as vice president of Innovation. His 17 years of business experience also includes jobs with General Electric and Archer Daniels Midland.
The members of Great American Insurance Group are subsidiaries of American Financial Group, Inc. (AFG), based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
