Marsh, a global provider of insurance broking and risk management services, has made two senior leadership appointments within Marsh Captive Solutions.
Effective January 1, 2019, Julie Boucher will assume direct leadership of Marsh’s Bermuda, Cayman and Barbados captive offices in the newly created role of Islands practice leader.
Currently the Americas practice leader, Boucher will relocate to Bermuda from Vermont. She brings 30 years of captive experience to the position, having served in various roles of increasing responsibility within Marsh Captive Solutions.
Also effective January 1, 2019, Chris Varin will assume oversight of Marsh’s U.S. captive management offices in the newly created role of U.S. practice leader.
Currently Vermont office head, Varin has 28 years of experience and has served in a variety of roles within Marsh Captive Solutions, with responsibilities in operations, technology and strategy. Varin will remain located in Burlington, Vermont.
Boucher and Varin will report to Marsh Captive Solutions President Ellen Charnley.
