Insurance broker and advisor Willis Towers Watson has named Kelly Kinzer as head of Construction Broking in its Corporate Risk and Broking segment.
Kinzer, a 15-year industry veteran, joined Willis Towers Watson in 2015 and most recently served as construction specialties broking leader. Prior to joining WTW, Kinzer was with Marsh (2011-2015), Allianz (2010-2011) and Zurich (2003-2010).
Kinzer is based in Minneapolis and reports to Joe Peiser, head of Broking North America, and Paul Becker, global industry leader, construction.
Kinzer will be responsible for the company’s insurance brokerage offerings aimed at construction clients, including contractors, project owners, developers, architects and engineers. She will work with the insurance marketplace to develop risk transfer solutions for clients, while overseeing a team of brokers specializing in the placement of key construction insurance coverages, including practice programs, builder’s risk, professional liability and consolidated insurance programs.
