MetLife has named Darla Finchum as head of the company’s U.S. property/casualty business, MetLife Auto & Home. Finchum has been serving in this role on an interim basis since August, 2018.
She will be responsible for growth and management of the company’s personal and small commercial lines as well as transforming the business to meet the needs of today’s technology-focused consumers. She will report directly to president of the U.S. Business and EMEA Michel Khalaf and join the U.S. business senior Leadership team.
Prior to taking on the interim leadership role, Finchum served as chief claims officer for MetLife Auto & Home. She joined MetLife in 2000 through the acquisition of the St. Paul Companies personal lines business and has held multiple roles of increasing seniority in the claims organization.
