It’s only a matter of time until the remaining lawsuits are dismissed by this or other justices, whether they be on Federal courts or the SCOTUS. Hooray for common sense and justice!

Real common sense would be to stop emitting poisons and toxins into out ground, water and air, regardless if it cause climate change or not. Or, at the very least, find less solutions that reduce pollution, even if it impacts profits.

You mean like this event in 2015

“The city of Durango and La Plata County, Colorado, have declared a state of emergency after a federal cleanup crew accidentally released mine waste into the water.”

Ron, the Colorado event was not an accident. There was a guy who wrote an op-ed the day before saying that the government was going to intentionally cause a spill at the site to set up a superfund site that they have to clean up the water there for decades to come. Intentional poisoning by the government.

The real issue is that most people just don’t care. They think humans are superior. That we’re immune. That kicking the rock down the road will just make things easier. But we are not making this world a better place for future generations. And as the older population keeps dying, maybe the younger generation will be less short sighted and more loving. The earth is our home. There isn’t another one. We have some major environmental issues going on and all the media even seems to report on is political junk.

We need to invest in battery technology or energy storage technology. We can get all the energy we want from the sun but if we can’t store that energy over long periods of time I.E. until the sun comes back then it doesn’t matter because we will still be dependant of fuels overnight. The battery must also last longer than 10 years while storing such energy, at our current tech level it’s just not possible. Invest in new renewable BATTERIES, we can generate energy easily, it’s storing that needs advancement. Plus I want my I-phone to last longer than 12 hours ya know?

          Don’t worry about it.

The Global Debt is going to crash the economy long before Climate Change makes a real dent . . . China: 300% debt to GDP. France: 300%. debt to GDP. Greece, Italy, etc. etc.

US: probably bankrupt, when you add up all the unfunded Medicare/Social Security/Public Pension debt to the 22 trillion of Federal budget debt.

Climate Change? That’s just a luxury to worry about.

Ron, hate to tell you this, but our air is 24% better than it has been in years. In Germany, they went in for Solar and Wind and it has had no effect on the levels of air quality. Go talk to China and India since they lead the world in pollution and leave the US alone.

Germany needs some of our cleaner air, not that of China & India. We also should not be paying to clean up their dirtier air.

That was neither a yes nor a no, which leads me to believe you’re unaware of how global air circulation patterns work. Let me ask you a simple question (and feel free to google it if you’re unsure):

Does air from China primarily travel west to east or east to west?

And Jesus said, “insult your neighbor”.

Calling someone a liar indicates you know what they were thinking, know they knew they were telling a falsehood. Which is very hard to know. Which is why most people refrain from calling people liars without evidence.

Unless they are Christian, I guess. . .
