Why would Bayer think that a new, Intelligible strategy would work on a jury? Most people on a jury don’t want to be there. Most people figure out how not to be there. So your left with people who couldn’t figure out how not to be there, and who couldn’t figure out what to say to not get selected, and Bayer counts on them to be able to understand a new and complicated strategy?
Bad thing is that there is still no concrete medical proof that Round Up is a direct cause of cancer, and yet the jurors voted that it is a likely cause.

Bayer should’ve used the “Chewbacca Defense.” that works every time.
