Boy, that tight crack down on illegal pot growers and sellers is working fine. Oh wait, this was LEGAL product!

“In a recent Associated Press investigation, for example, a reporter in Los Angeles purchased five vape cartridges advertised as delivering smokable CBD, but lab testing showed two of them contained synthetic marijuana.”

    Whatever, man. Pass the bong.

Craig, you are correct, and this is why it is critical we have strict quality controls in place, like we do in the food industry, so these types of situations do not continue to arise. You can squeeze your eyelids together as tightly as you want and wish really, really hard this all just goes away, but you’d be sorely amiss. The exposure is here to stay, so we need to work on the risk management pieces in order to better handle the risk. Basically, HACCP should be in place for the MJ industry as it is for food. Heck, even animal feed manufacturers are required to be fully HACCP. Because the alternative is having synthetic crap peddled as something it is not. This is fraud and would negate coverage that could be afforded in the policy.

        Delusional drivel.

Liberal lawmakers will NEVER allow law enforcement in California to crack down on illegal pot to any significant degree. After you and all your buddies argued that marijuana convictions were SO unfair and outrageous, do you really think all your Pot Fan buddies in California are going to go Full Reefer Madness in reverse now? Seriously? You sending Dragnet out there to round up the illegal growers and sellers?

Of course not, especially not the illegal growers and sellers in minority communities. Be real with yourself.

(Do you know you speak nonsense or are you unaware?)

Generalized statements without any evidence or data to back them up. Kind of your thing. Considering you’ve ranted false claims about marijuana causing psychosis and addiction, are you sure you should be referencing “reefer madness”? I do not think you understand what that term means.

Hey Polar, remember the last board where I called out your hypocrisy and you just stopped posting on it? Ever going to be a man and own up to your failures? I didn’t think so.

As to claiming he has spread NO mis-information:
Craig posted 5 links about the relationship between marijuana and psychosis, attributing a quote to one of the links claiming that the articles actually proved his argument. The quote he posted wasn’t featured in any of the links, and all 5 links actually refuted his claims.

Craig has repeatedly claimed that marijuana can be an addiction, without any evidence.

Craig has claimed that the state of California has never spent any money on anti-marijuana campaigns. They just spent $20m because of the current vaping scare.

So yes, Craig has spread misinformation. Nice try though, liar!

I never said California “never” spent any money and the “evidence” you provided had nothing to do with warning kids of the dangers of THC, which was the point.

I provided links to multiple credible sources about THC and addiction, including one that established physical addiction.

I posted 3 links from respected research, including one written up in the respected journal Science connecting THC with psychosis AND schizophrenia, including the famous study in Sweden that ruled out pre-conditions that would lead to schizophrenia.

Why are you so hateful and dishonest?

As to the rest, did that article get shut down or did I just forget to go back and refute your swedesh study? So far you’ve lied and made excuses for your lies multiple times, I’m willing to bet your response here isn’t entirely truthful since you have lost all credibility. Hateful, sure, dishonest? Never.

Craig; stoner’s inability to focus on the subject, or to make a coherent statement is related to their long-term stoning. Their fervent objections to Federal laws regarding pot are related to their prior arrests and convictions that remain on their records, impeding their search for jobs, and adversely affecting their lives in other ways.

    From the article:

“The CLAIM Act may encourage more insurance players to enter the cannabis market, but until there’s significant historical claims data, Petrilli doesn’t see a big impact on premiums or the availability of insurance products – neither of which he believes favors consumers at this time.

“Until that risk is defined, having more players in the market is not going to guarantee lower premiums or bring more quality insurance products,” he said. “Until that risk is controlled, insurance companies are going to protect themselves with rates and premiums.” ”

The above CLEARLY states that the risks of selling marIJuana are currently unknown; i.e. they await claim data to better understand the risks of selling pot. Note; I am not saying this is exclusively focused on medical risks of selling pot, but rather, on ALL possible risks that may give rise to claims against the vendors. So, of course, it includes risks of medical problems that may arise much later; e.g. cerebral malfunctioning after a decade. Alternately, risks may include auto accidents due to excessive dosage and dispensing it to youths under the legal use age. So, absent claim data, NONE of the sources of risk of use of pot have currently been ruled out.

You started off fine, but then you swerved into the crazy. I get that the insurance industry wants more data on where the claims will be, but the idea that it would be cerebral malfunctioning after a decade is not supported by the literal decades of marijuana use. Your personal bias is negating your ability to tackle this issue with common sense and pragmatism.

Auto accidents are certainly a risk, and I understand the idea of not ruling out any potential liability options, but that’s why some carriers are currently tackling this and some aren’t. It is a little bit of a gamble, but all insurance has an element of gambling to it. Your data can only go so far, and everyone has had a perfect insured doing everything right that still had a blown-up ridiculous claim. Things happen, we just use what we can. While you’re sitting back and debating about marijuana, some of us are profiting off of the industry quite nicely.

          A) Not all baseball players drink and some who do, still do it moderately. Do I need to explain to you how one becomes addicted to alcohol or do you have that disease understood?
          B) Some who are prescribed follow doctor’s orders, do not have an addictive personality, and destroy the remainder of their medication once they have finished their treatment.
          C) I’ll defer to Jon on this one, seems like he has it down.

Any more brain busters or is it you who should stop now?

How many NBA players have damaged their brains with THC?

Let me know what your science tells you. Because the answer is truly that you have no idea. (You high again, Mr. Independent Christian?)

Needless attacks without offering any actual data of value. Pathetic.

Why narrow your search to NBA players? Snowboarders?
I know who cannot function and know their history. Non-stoners are still functioning at a high level. Stoners, not so much.

Tell us about the geniuses who snowboarded or play BB and I’ll show you people who made their living without using their brains as much as other professionals. It’s why they’re called ‘athletes’, not ‘scholars’ or ‘thinkers’ or ‘inventors’ or ‘innovators’.

LOL you’re a fool. Most of the ex NFL players I know are in finance. Shaq has his doctorate in economics. I know you like to think the world is so black and white that everyone who smokes weed is dumb, but the truth is a lot of us are clearly more intelligent than you dinosaurs who refuse to acknowledge things like fact and evidence. You’re pathetic.
