I have had interactions with Verisk (ISO’s for profit arm). I have nothing good to say about them, they are difficult to work with, they are arrogant and as the jury found out here, they steal intellectual property. Also in my opinion, they are also hypocrites, they hold their own products so close to themselves that nobody is allowed to get close to them. I hope this sets them back and hope this brings competition to force an attitude edema in that company.

No I don’t think “Agency” expect free from them. In my opinion, something they should open/public their document, like data file formats, like their ESX file. But they hold it very TIGHT. I think it would help them, not hurt them if they let others to feed data to their Xactimate.
