As much as some out here want it so bad to be the cause, it isn’t the THC. There are additives that are causing these illnesses. If you want to vape THC, I’d stick to vaping flowers if I were you.
Honestly, I’m still vaping from reliably tested/trusted brands. It is somewhat concerning, but I do believe the reports that the issue is primarily untrusted/black market brands. It helps that in California we do have easier access to highly regulated products though.
You literally just questioned him about there being additives that are causing a problem, and now you’re switching to say there are additives in the oil based vape products. Which is it, crazybear? It is very likely the additives, because as mentioned numerous times: PEOPLE WERE VAPING HASH OIL BEFORE NOW. It’s the recent popularity and demand that has caused additives to be used and now people are being harmed. Vaping has been around for literal decades, it is laughable that you keep trying to insist that it’s the THC.

Yogi,
Reading comprehension, please. I wrote, “…strictly the oil-based vaping” and you wrote, “oil BASED vape products.” We agree. And, I am also stating the fact that those who vape the flowers only, not an oil-concentrate, will not be in danger of getting the same illness. Vaping the flowers only has not caused 1 single case of this lung condition. Something is being added to that oil concentrate in both THC and nicotine products that is causing this.

BASED means the ingredients OTHER THAN oil are the culprit. Which ones are not yet fully proven. THC is a suspect, if not a top suspect.

Actually, ‘based’ means the foundation of the product which in the case of these vaping devices, is oil. But, thanks for trying out!

Hydrogen cyanide has been discovered in some of the concentrates. You know, poison? That’ll certainly cause illness and death. So, that’s one additive for you.
18 Vapings deaths- The Possibility of upwards of 1,000 people sick. A Calamity.
While per the CDC 1300 plus deaths Daily due to cigarette smoking.
SAVE THE VAPORS
David – I hear ya brother! Let me tell you what a Cancer Doctor told me about smoking. He was my Chemo Doc. Banning Cigarettes is no longer an option. The economy would literally tank if they ever did. Smoking is almost required to keep the Healthcare Industry profitable. While it’s killing everyone, it also pays for literally thousands of doctors, tens of thousands of nurses, more tens of thousands of other jobs (in and out of healthcare) and in a decade of banning cigarettes, those (many of them) jobs would cease to exist. At this point, there is nothing anyone will do to ban cigarettes. Incredibly sad to hear that from a Cancer Doctor, but I fully understand what he was saying.
There is obviously have a problem with this stuff. Almost seems like it a suicidal game of Russian roulette with this stuff.
A black market ring was recently busted in Kenosha. 10 employees manufacturing the cartridges daily putting out thousands of them a week.
Fun Fact: The FDA under Obama was asked to ban flavored vaping nicotine products to keep them from appealing to kids. The FDA rejected the recommendation after being pressured by vaping industry lobbyists.
Polls indicate that 1 in 4 high school kids are now vaping nicotine products. For years, nicotine consumption went down for young people as did people becoming addicted on nicotine. Since the FDA’s decision, those trends are sharply reversed.
Question: How many of those new addicts are among the 1,000 or so who are now sick? How many of the 18 dead?
“…and 17% who said they had only vaped nicotine.”

Which additives?
Where/ what is the source of that ‘100% certain’ medical study conclusion?
“…and 17% who said they had only vaped nicotine.”
Vaping just flowers has not caused 1 illness to date. It is strictly the oil-based vaping that is leading to these conditions.
There is your evidence, sir.
No, it isn’t just oil…. there are other ingredients in those oil BASED vape products.
