“…For the second time in two weeks, hundreds of protesters — including armed militia group members — thronged Michigan’s state Capitol in Lansing demanding an end to Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s stay-at-home orders…. ”

The authors avoided conflict and political bias until they couldn’t help themselves from inserting their description of the militia group as being ‘armed’, which is a Constitutional right for reasons such as we are seeing in Michigan and a few other Democrat governed states (e.g. NY, NJ, CA, IL, CT, DE, MD, MA) and DC. Furthermore, the authors intentionally highlighted their political comment by surrounding it with a pair of ‘-‘s.

That’s not political – that’s just accurate reporting.

      Think of hundreds of protesters.

Got that image in your head?

Now think of hundreds of armed protesters.

      A little different, no?

But yeah – let’s rail against the person who dared (DARED I say, sarcastically) to accurately report the protesters were carrying weapons.

My mistake – there were not hundreds of armed protesters – just armed militia protesting with unarmed protesters. My bad. I typed too fast.

Unemployed workers are protesting because they have the latest information that tells them the earliest model projections were biased, erroneous, and their governor’s power grabs are no longer supportable through valid reasons, logic, ‘corrected’ models, and the latest data.

Some Governor’s are clearly ignoring the Will of the INFORMED People and more valid stats and projections.

      Yogi,
WRONG! Early model projections didn’t consider the practices we have put in place in order to save lives. Early projections may have considered the fact the president was calling it a democratic hoax, we are going from 15 to 0 cases, and it is miraculously disappear in April. New projections may want to consider the number of people who have actually drank disinfectants after the president suggested it may be a way to fight the virus. Or the number of people who have died of heart attack after taking hydroxychloroquine, which the president is invested in, and Tramp told people they should take that, too. These unemployed workers are protesting because it is a turf grass movement. There is a lobbyist here in Iowa who is bragging of making these movements in Michigan and Ohio. He was asked why it isn’t taking place here yet. His answer is, “we’ll see.” It’s as turf grass as the Tea Party movement. Those Covidiots make me laugh. I wonder how many of them will be getting sick now. They deserve it after acting a fool, armed or not.

Oh, Planet. Always a day late.

WHO just endorsed Sweden’s non-lock down approach as the best one and Trump is now bashing Sweden. (Because as a politician, he know what’s coming: eventual recognition that the lock down was a total failure to save lives.)

We will eventually have to bite the bullet, re-open, accept the additional deaths that follow until we reach herd immunity. We have only delayed the inevitable by destroying the economy.

And now you are on Trump’s side! Awesome.

Yet once again, Craig trying to alter the truth to make it go along with his story. WHO didn’t “endorse” Sweden’s lockdown. They praised it, because

“Sweden has “put in place a very strong public policy around social distancing, around caring and protecting people in long term care facilities.”

Dr. Ryan of WHO said what Sweden has done differently is to rely heavily on its relationship with its citizenry and the ability and willingness of Swedes to implement self-distancing and self-regulate.

Not an endorsement of a non-lockdown approach.

It’s okay Craig, you can stay dishonest, I’ll be right here to point out why you’re leaving out critical information, you partisan hack.

Craig is spouting off right wing hate radio talking points again? Yeah, I refuse to read him anymore. Nor will I respond to him. The WHO did not endorse, they merely gave praise. Sweden’s neighbors all have much lower death tolls. Besides, if you want to look at a country who handled this the right way and has effectively eliminated the virus, you have to be looking at New Zealand and the measures they took. Not Sweden. But, we can look at Sweden for other things like education, mandatory paid leave, health care…

Did Planet and Jon turn into Rosenblatt????

Arguing the meaning of words is what Rosenblatt does. I think you guys have violated Rosenblatt’s patent.

Okay, I’ll go with your “praise” instead of endorse. Wow.It turns out it makes no difference to the point I made. The Left has been vigorous at attacking Sweden’s approach. But now the “experts” say it works and Trump is attacking it!

Run, Planet, Run! If you support WHO, you support Trump! Ain’t life funny.

            I figured it out!

Your problem is, you don’t understand the english language!

You see, words have meanings. These definitions are cataloged in a handy book called a Dictionary. You can also use dictionary.com to find the meaning of words, because you apparently don’t realize that these words you say mean what they mean. I know this, because you keep saying one thing even though in actuality you apparently mean an entirely DIFFERENT thing. You’ve got to work on this, otherwise people are going to keep thinking you’re a liar, Craig! That’s what we call it when someone uses words to say something false.

Praise and endorse are two different words with very different meanings. You also simplified “WHO endorsed Sweden’s non-lockdown approach” from “WHO Praised Sweden’s ability to not require a lockdown of it’s citizens” two VERY different statements.

But I think you know that they’re so different, don’t you? Yeah, you do. You WANTED it to sound like WHO endorsed Sweden. You’d have called it an “anti-lockdown stance” if you thought you could have gotten away with it! Too bad!

The facts are entirely against you. As usual, there’s plenty to laugh at here, but none of us are laughing with you Craig.

            Jon,
It’s seriously in your best interest to ignore the trolling. Either he’ll go away or you simply don’t read anything he says, so he’ll go away. I find it hard to believe my conservative friends are complimenting Sweden. Sweden! A country they typically rip on. The states who act more like New Zealand will be better off in the long run. Heck, people here in Iowa are already violating the social distancing guideline. Our governor has told people if they can, they go back to work or they risk losing unemployment benefits future forward. She’s starting to sound more and more like Tramp everyday. I’m surprised she isn’t pushing Clorox toasts during her press conference briefings.

You make it seem like he drank it intentionally.

He ACCIDENTALLY drank fish tank cleaner.

His WIFE (not a retired engineer) confused chloroquine phosphate with hydroxychloroquine.

His wife mixed the drug with soda and gave it to him.

Your statement makes it seem like a retired engineer intentionally drank chloroquine phosphate.

That is not what happened at all.
