Nautilus Insurance Group has promoted two senior staff members to the position of executive vice president.
Trish Buckhardt, senior vice president, chief operating officer (COO), and chief information officer (CIO), has been promoted to executive vice president while retaining both COO and CIO offices. Buckhardt has 35 years of industry experience. Since joining Nautilus in 2016, Buckhardt has implemented several large-scale business transformation initiatives. As COO and CIO, she oversees the day-to-day operations and guides the development of technology and service offerings. Prior to joining Nautilus, she was with Nationwide Excess & Surplus Specialty for almost 20 years.
Tom Joyce has been promoted from senior vice president and chief underwriting officer (CUO) to executive vice president while retaining CUO responsibilities. Joyce joined Nautilus in March of 2015 as senior vice president of the Claims Division before taking over as CUO in 2018. He has 35 years in the insurance industry in various technical and leadership roles. As CUO, he has improved the service Nautilus provides customers while increasing product offerings and results.
