Your Insurance Company isn’t the problem. They paid you what you contracted with them to cover and didn’t pay you what you didn’t purchase from them. So who to blame?
    Covid-19. That’s a no brainer.
Century 21 Company Executives and Counsel. They decide what policies and coverages to purchase. They could have purchased insurance that would have saved their company however they either didn’t see the need or decided (a business decision they must live with) they didn’t want to spend the money to cover such a loss. They should also have engaged a good Insurance Agent to clearly explain to them what they were and weren’t buying.

Hey Ray: Gee, I consider myself to be a good insurance agent. But i never considered once explaining to any of my clients that pandemic causes of loss would not be covered by business interruption policies. I have had several conversations with clients who have asked if their insurance covered all losses. i have replied, tell me what loss you would wish to be covered and i will tell you if your policy would provide protection. There is no way an agent can explain all excluded loss situations
